Emory University’s James Weldon Johnson Medals Ceremony

In November, Regina was honored to serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies at Emory University’s James Weldon Johnson Medals ceremony!

Honorees included Alice Walker for literature, Gloria Steinem for journalism, and U.S. Rep. John Lewis and activist Myrlie Evers Williams for civil rights. Upcoming Project: The Clark Rockefeller Story

Regina plays Agent Megan Norton in the upcoming Lifetime movie, The Clark Rockefeller Story, starring Eric McCormack! From The Hollywood Reporter:

October 07, 2009

“Claiming to be an heir to the famous Rockefeller dynasty, the German-born con (McCormack), born Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter, became a fixture in Boston high society and eventually married Sandra Boss (Sherry Stringfield), a millionaire with a Harvard MBA and a partner at the prestigious business consulting firm McKinsey & Co. After losing custody of their daughter during the divorce, Rockefeller kidnapped the girl during a supervised visit in July 2008.”

Cell Short Takes – Eyes on Chicago Screening

On Saturday, May 2nd, Regina traveled to Chicago’s Renaissance Hotel to honor the winners of her Cell Short Takes-Eyes on Chicago competition. The winners’ films were screened for their family and peers. Regina was also pleased to view the work of other students from Jones College Prep High School. Here is one of her favorites:
